Digital images

Let's start by defining them!

An image is said to be digital when it is created using software and stored in binary form. A photograph taken on a smartphone or a drawing made on a tablet.

It is then an array of values, where each value corresponds to a color. We speak of pixels.

On a computer screen, a pixel is made up of three parts: green, blue and red.
