Designed in partnership with the Planétarium de Montréal, Rosy product is an online accessible educational kit and pathway that will immerse your students in the world of astronomy.

Mixing a virtual learning journey and a physical experimentation kit, follow the adventures of Rosy the tardigrade through her travels from planet Earth to space!

Join Rosy on her quest to warn Earth that an extraterrestrial signal has been detected in space by completing challenges with the micro:bit nano-computer, while learning about space observation, waves, solar panels, light, and space communication.

Specifications :

  • Age: 2nd and 3rd cycle of secondary school (Quebec)
  • Duration: 4-6hrs
  • Recommended in groups of 2 students

Each workshop-kit contains:

  • 1 Rosy printed circuit;
  • 1 AAA battery-pack;
  • 1 USB cable (USB-A to Micro-USB);
  • 1 Access code for the virtual learning platform;
  • 1 Solid plastic box with foam padded interior;
  • 1 Instructions for online platform access and setup;

Non-included:

  • Micro:bit nano-computer (purchase option);
  • 2 x AAA batteries (purchase option).
