Youth digital workshops animator
Founded in 2012, GénieLab is a nonprofit organization that promotes access to digital culture by merging design, art, and technology to provide inclusive experiences anchored on collaboration, experimentation, and education.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent written and oral COMMUNICATION skills
- Ability to create an ENGAGING AND FUN EXPERIENCE for participants
- Quick and SELF-RELATED learner, ready to take on the CHALLENGE
- Ability to WORK IN A TEAM
- Strong WORK ETHICS, LEARNING ABILITY and RELIABILITY
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Good skills with SCIENTIFIC VULGARIZATION
- Fluency in spoken and written FRENCH
- Experience with ONLINE animation with YOUTH
- Experience with MICRO:BIT/MAKECODE.ORG, Arduino, Watson AI, Scratch, etc.
- Basic experience with CODING/PROGRAMMING
DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS
- Record and facilitate online or face-to-face workshops
- Collaborate with the TECHNOPEDAGOGY team
- Facilitate and/or support VIRTUAL TRAINING deliveries
- LEARN workshop content, and ATTEND in-house trainings
- Serve as a POINT OF CONTACT between the internal/external training team
